The International Development Group

The International Development Group has specialised in creating and conducting sustainable, aid-funded programmes and projects for over 20 years.

IDG specialists have been engaged to design, set up, promote and manage aid-funded programmes for the European Commission to encourage investment and technology flows into African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries.

We have also conducted aid-funded projects for the European Commission and other public sector institutions, the private, associative and third sectors in the UK and Europe, ACP countries, South East Asia, India, China and the Americas.

To change livelihoods in so many different cultures and environments, we have developed an extensive international network of experts, many leaders in their field, in all major categories: agriculture, production, construction and services.

IDG utilises its experts’ practical experience and knowledge of what is achievable to scope the work that needs to be done to accomplish the lasting change that stakeholders want.

Our first-hand experience of every stage, from programme creation to sustainable project completion, means that our feet are firmly on the ground during planning, our guidelines are tried and tested, our projects are rigorously managed and our performance measurement and impact assessment are incorporated from the outset.
